Want To Add Money To Your UNE I.D.?

All students, faculty and staff can choose to add funds onto their University ID card, which then can be used as a debit card at Alexander Dining Hall and Pavilion Café on the Portland Campus or Windward Café, The Hang, Decary Dining Hall or Café a La Carte on the Biddeford Campus. This option provides a fast, safe and convenient method of managing campus life. It eliminates the need to carry cash, as your card will be swiped and charges automatically removed from your balance. Resident students can also add money to their card (above the additional Flex Board that may be offered with their meal plan) or in addition to monies on a graduate student meal plan.

To sign up for this option, please stop by Decary Dining Hall on the Biddeford Campus or Alexander Dining Hall on the Portland Campus. You may also call Pat Grigware at 207-602-2836 or the best way to accomplish this in a timely manner is to e-mail pgrigware@une.edu. The minimum amount of money that can be added to your card is $35, the maximum $200. Any Flex Nor’easter fund balances remaining on your card at the end of the semester or academic year will carry over to the next semester. Available at both campuses.

Nor'easter Dollars

UNE Dining Services created the Nor’easter Dollars program to be the ultimate complement to your university experience.  Nor’easter Dollars is a declining balance account tied to your Student ID Card and is accepted both on and off campus. www.noreasterdollars.com

Lost or Damaged Card

If your I.D. is lost or damaged, please notify the Security Office at Ext. 2900 to obtain a replacement card. Security will notify Dining Services that a replacement card has been issued to you and we will transfer your student information and the remaining balance of your Flex Dollars onto the new card.

Biddeford Campus

New resident students are automatically enrolled in the 17 plus meal plan. Returning resident students will automatically be enrolled in the same meal plan they had the previous semester. At the beginning of the semester you have two weeks to change your meal plan. Flex Board made available as a debit on your student I.D. that can be used for purchases at any dining services retail unit on either campus or to bring a guest to the dining hall and $75 in Nor'easter Dollars (to be used on or off campus) per year. 17 Meal Plan Plus $75 Flex Board
Your choice of 17 meals on Friday through Thursday week. Your choice of 12 meals on Friday through Thursday week. 8 Meal Plan Plus $175 Flex Board
Your choice of 8 meals on Friday through Thursday week. In addition, students receive $175 per semester of Flex Board made available as a debit on your student I.D. that can be used for purchases at any dining services retail unit on either campus or to bring a guest to the dining hall and $75 in Nor'easter Dollars (to be used on or off campus) per year. All meal plans run Friday through Thursday and allow 3 guest swipes per semester. The 17 meal plan allows you flexibility at the Dining Hall with some Flex Board Cash.The 12 and 8 meal plan options limits your flexibility at the Dining Hall but has a little more Flex Board Cash to use at other Dining locations on Campus. Flex Board Dollars carry over from 1st semester to 2nd semester, not from year to year.

25 Block Meal Plan
The Commuter/COM, Faculty and Staff Meal Plans have been designed to allow the flexibility to use Meal Exchanges at Decary Dining Hall or Alexander Dining Hall. The plan provides 25 entries into either Decary Dining Hall or Alexander Dining Hall. The plan also has $100 in flex cash to use at our retail locations on both campuses and eliminates the need to carry cash. The cost of the plan is $220.00. The 25 meals and flex cash may be used at any time. The plan is non-refundable. The plan does not expire until all the meals and flex cash have depleted. Participating in the 25 Block Plan also makes you eligible to take advantage of bag lunches to go. These bag lunches may be ordered for pick up at Alexander or Decary dining halls.

40 Block Meal Plan
The Commuter/COM, Faculty and Staff Meal Plans have been designed to allow the flexibility to use Meal Exchanges at Decary Dining Hall or Alexander Dining Hall. The plan provides 40 entries into either Decary Dining Hall or Alexander Dining Hall. The plan also has $75 in flex cash to use at our retail locations on both campuses. This eliminates the need to carry cash. The cost of the plan is $260.00. The 40 meals and flex cash may be used at any time The plan is non-refundable. You will need a check made out to Sodexo, cash or credit card number with expiration date. Also needed is the student’s name, PRN number and desired Meal Plan so we can set that up. Portland Campus

15 Plus Meal Plan
The 15 Plus meal plan provides for 15 entries to Alexander Dining Hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday, and brunch and dinner on the weekends. The plan provides for your choice of 15 meals per week and is based on a Friday through Thursday schedule. In addition, students receive $100.00 per semester in flex dollars that can be used for guest meals or for retail purchases at any dining services retail unit on either the Portland Campus or the Biddeford Campus. Flex dollars are added onto your student ID card at the beginning of each semester, and carry over between semesters. Flex dollars do not carry over between academic years and are not refundable. Also included is $75 in Nor'easter Dollars (to be used on or off campus) per year.
